Focus on Phonics

Early Literacy must be taken as a prerequisite to Focus on Phonics.

Focus on Phonics is designed to teach phoneme to grapheme correspondence, rules, spelling generalizations, and syllabication. Focus on Phonics provides teachers with the knowledge and strategies to effectively teach sound-symbol relationship, the rules that govern our language and the explicit, systematic way to instruct.

The required book for this class is included in the cost of the course.
