Learning Disabilities that Interfere with Reading and Written Expression

Early Literacy and Focus on Phonics should be taken first as prerequisites to Learning Disabilities.

This course is designed to familiarize the classroom teacher with learning disabilities that interfere with the reading, writing and math processing. Topics to be discussed: Visual and Auditory Processing Disorders, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia.

Prerequisite courses are Early Literacy and Focus on Phonics.
