Early Literacy is the first class in THE CRS. The Early Literacy class is crucial for understanding the development of pre-reading skills such as: oral language, vocabulary, phonological awareness, and print awareness. Educators will learn what  skills to teach  and how to teach the skills. Come join us and start the CRS journey. Participants will be empowered with the skills needed to teach reading, writing and spelling.

This class will be held at the Greater Atlanta Christian School 1500 Ignite across the street from the main campus.

Directions:

The Ignite Conference Center is at the back of the 1500 Building. The 1500 Building is GAC’s administration building, across the street from the main GAC campus, and right next to Starbucks.

*** From I-85, turn East on Indian Trail Lilburn Road. QuikTrip will be on your left, and after the light, the GAC campus will be on your right. At the next light for the main campus entrance on your right, turn left onto Indian Brook Way. At the stop sign, make a right – this will take you behind the businesses and Starbucks, and directly into the back parking lot of the 1500 Building.

*** From the main GAC Campus, exit the campus straight through the light at the main gate (in front of the HS Building) and cross over Indian Trail Lilburn Road. At the stop sign, make a right – this will take you behind the businesses and Starbucks, and directly into the back parking lot of the 1500 Building.
